La persévérance,

le secret de tous les triomphes.

– Victor Hugo

- Lao Tseu

About

I am Thomas Masurel, a devoted family man, and passionate Chief Information Officer. I am fortunate to balance my life between the fast-paced rhythm of Paris and the serene haven of Normandy. There, nature and tranquillity help me find the necessary balance between my professional responsibilities, personal life, and passions.

This blog is a space where I share my diverse reflections, passions, questions (and sometimes answers), as well as my worldview. Here, you will find an eclectic mix of my interests, thoughts, and discoveries.

My journey has been marked by an incessant quest for quality, perseverance, and innovation, values that I integrate into both my professional and personal life. As a CIO, my mission is to develop and implement flexible technologies to optimize operations and enhance customer experience. Together with my team, we constantly explore how technology can drive innovation and support brand strategy.

Passionate about education, hiking, philosophy, technology, classical music, jazz, and rock, I strive to maintain a balance between action and reflection, integrity and spontaneity, nature and technology. Inspired by resilient and honorable historical figures, I aim to embody these values in my leadership, parenting, and daily life.

I like the motto « Climb Higher, Reach Farther, Be Better, » as it reflects my constant aspiration to improve and reach new heights. Through this blog, I hope to share this quest for excellence, perseverance, sharing, and innovation with you.

Thank you for joining me on this adventure.
